Our annual Trees of Lights display, created so our community can remember friends and loved ones during the holidays, has grown from a single evergreen dressed in bulbs to a 67,340-light extravaganza.
Join us on Sunday, November 29 at 5 pm in the Long Term Care parking lot as we kick off this year’s show! We’ll have cookies and hot chocolate. Plus, Santa’s reindeer will be making a special appearance. After the lighting ceremony, stop by the Long Term Care parking lot anytime between 5 pm and 10 pm through January 2, 2016 and watch the show from the comfort of your vehicle. Just tune your radio to the station listed and watch as the lights dance and twinkle before your very eyes.
You can join in the spirit of giving by sponsoring individual lights, a string of lights, a leaping arch, small trees or larger trees in our grand display. Or consider sponsoring the centerpiece of the Trees of Lights display, our 30-foot Tribute Tree. Download the donation form and mail it to the address listed or donate online. Donation forms are also available at our hospital and clinic reception desks.
Proceeds from Trees of Lights help the Glencoe Regional Health Services Foundation fund scholarships, support community health projects and participate in initiatives that benefit the entire region.
Your donation to Trees of Lights is tax deductible to the extent of the law.
