When it comes to childbirth education, we’ve got you covered. We offer an online prenatal class and an in-person breastfeeding class so you’re prepared for the arrival of your baby.
Online childbirth education
With our eLearning prenatal class, you can learn at your own pace, when it’s convenient for you and your partner. Our interactive, web-based program has been specially designed to prepare you for the birth of your baby. It covers relaxation techniques, labor and delivery, pain management, C-sections, recovery, newborn care and safety, feeding your newborn and more!
The program includes animated illustrations, videos and voice-overs and can be viewed on a PC, Mac or mobile device. High speed internet is advised, but dial-up will work; it will just take longer to download. To ensure that you can view and use all of the online program features, be sure your web browser is running the most current Flash Player. Compatible web browsers include Internet Explorer (9 or later), Internet Explore Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox 40.0.3 and Apple Safari (5 or later).
As a compliment to our eLearning childbirth education program, we offer an in-person breastfeeding class throughout the year. You’ll tour our comfortable Best Beginnings Birth Center as part of the class. Even if you’re not able to attend a breastfeeding class, we provide electronic access to the book we use.
