| Certified nurse midwives provide reproductive health care services and care for women and their babies before, during and immediately following birth. These services include gynecological exams, diagnostic tests, contraceptive placement and prescriptions, reproductive health counseling and education, pregnancy care, management of labor and delivery, postpartum care and newborn care.
